Chris' adventures, random rants, and just stuff I think is interesting.

What's an adventure? For me, every day is a new opportunity to learn something new or have an experience to talk about with friends later.

Adventures happen anywhere and any time. Here, you will find a mix of thoughts related to my job, my family, the outdoors, or just random events.

You're welcome to come along.

RM moves to OASIS

The press release just went out. After a few rounds of interop work and a ton of engineering, we finally reached the submission milestone for WS-ReliableMessaging.  Off to OASIS it goes.

The TC proposal includes an amazing group of companies that really demonstrate the momentum and support WS-ReliableMessaging has.  While the core of Web services platform vendors is not surprising, this TC will launch with support from verticals, customer organizations, government and even individual OASIS members.

The list so far: Actional, Adobe, Arjuna, BEA, Blue Titan, Choreology, Ericsson, Ford, IBM, IONA, Microsoft, Nortel, Novell, Open Applications Group, SAP, Sonic, Sun, Systinet, Tibco, Reactivity, Tibco, UK Government, UNC Chapel Hill, webMethods and AntoB.

When the TC is officially launched by the OASIS staff, the list of supporters should be even more impressive.
